This rescue has been a lifelong dream for her!  She volunteers a great deal of time and although retired as a speech pathologist, has returned to work to help support the expenses of the rescue.

We would like to recognize our Animal Care /Adoptions coordinator and her family. Ashley and her husband, Kendrick, are animal lovers. They have two cats at home, Simon and Zac. Ashley served our country in the Army and recently earned a double degree from ECU in Anthropology and History. She has volunteered tirelessly for two years and spends a great deal of time interviewing adopters at PetSmart. The cats love her and we are just thrilled that her family allows her to devote her time to Beare Garden.
