In the past 18 months, Beare Garden well over 300 kittens, cats and dogs find their homes.

Ashley Hunter deserves much respect. She has been with us since November 2018 and has given up a weekend day 3 times a month consistently. She has never called out. She has donated toys, a cat stand, but most of all her time. She is a Veteran of the US Army and a Senior at ECU completing a double major.

Let me tell you about one of those success stories, a special cat named Esther.

Esther has been spayed. If you recall, she was found by a dog in Greene County badly injured requiring extensive reconstruction surgery for both hips and legs at Cary Vet Specially Hospital March 1. After a lot of hard work on her part, she is ready for a home. Applications are being accepted. She is fully vetted and indoor only.
